In this relaxed workshop participants will be able to explore and practice nature printing using plants, inks, and a variety of printable surfaces. The plants become your vehicle for creative expression!!
We will begin with an introduction to collecting and preparing plants, using printing tools, exploring printing techniques, and choosing mediums and surfaces. The class will evolve into a guided exploration allowing each person to become comfortable with the process. Choosing some favorite prints, you will learn to transform them into frameable art, greeting cards and more.
Bring an apron or an old shirt to protect your clothes and be prepared for some inky fingers. Basic supplies and a selection of leaves and plants will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring some leaves they might like to print.
The workshop is limited to 8 participants.
