Julie Chapa grew up in the scenic landscapes of Northern Michigan, where her love for nature first began. After earning a degree in Biology from Central Michigan University, she dedicated 43 years to her career as a Medical Technologist while enjoying photography as a hobby.
Now residing in Rosharon, Texas, Julie has developed a deep connection to the Texas Gulf Coast, where she captures the region’s beauty through her photography. While she photographs a variety of subjects, she has a special passion for birds and landscapes. Early mornings, with their soft light and tranquil atmosphere, are her favorite times to shoot.
A self-taught photographer, Julie continually hones her craft through workshops and online tutorials. Her work is driven by a desire to inspire others to explore new places or rekindle memories of past adventures.
