Mardi Mitchell studied Art and Sociology at Stanford; then, graduated with a degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. Retired from Architecture now she can concentrate on watercolor and sometimes collage, with Janet Hassinger and Sallie Anderson. Also her time with Galveston Art League has played an important part in her growth as an artist, because of the multiplicity of talents there.
