Workshops Next Event Taiguruma Japanese Traditional Fish Lantern Workshop with Motoyuki Noguchi of Niigata Japan - Nov 11 – Nov 14 - 9:00 am – 4:00 pm See All Description Over two days, our goal is to equip artists of any level with the skills and techniques to tell their personal story about the world they inhabit through urban sketching. Through discussion demonstration and hands on activities the participants will gain the confidence to start “sketching in the wild.” Weather permitting, we will take our creativity outdoors, exploring the streets around the Art League through plein air exercises. Supplies Needed: Hard cover sketch book 5.5 x 8 or 8 x 10 with a landscape format. The paper should be suitable for your medium Pencils: B or 2B Pens: waterproof black fine liner pens in sizes 005,01 or 05 black brush pen. Recommended brands are Primacolor, Micron, Faber Castell and Copic White rubber eraser Highly recommend a folding chair or stool that you can carry for a short distance.
