Come Make your own giant papier maché Mardi Gras mask!

January 4th – build your armature and cover it with papier maché
January 11th – paint your mask.

Please pre-register for the workshop so that we can be sure there will be enough supplies for all.

Finished masks will be displayed at the Galveston Art League in anticipation of Mardi Gras. (Artists may certainly choose to wear their masks home instead.)

Leading the workshop will be Galveston Art League member Amy Slaughter.

Bring your creativity with you and any recyclable item that would help your armature.

Suggestions include but are not limited to:

toilet paper tubes
paper towel tubes
empty water bottles
empty yogurt or jello cups
corrugated cardboard
