The Galveston Art League is sponsoring a trip – called Spotlight on Savannah, a coastal city built on southern hospitality and charm. Here, you’re invited to step out of the warmth of the sun, duck into the shade beneath the hanging Spanish moss, and sip on a cold sweet tea. There are friendly people to meet, incredible restaurants to try, historic architecture to take in, and time to relax and enjoy yourself. Highlights include the Historic District Trolley Tour, City Market, Dessert Tour, Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, Pin Point, Tybee Island and a Dolphin Cruise.
Throughout every day of this tour, expert guides will handle all travel details, shepherding everyone to top-of-the-line lodging and meals as well as the gorgeous scenery. Because many on the trip will be working artists, the guides will accommodate requests to photograph or sketch the breathtaking vistas.
