Susan began drawing and painting at a young age. She was encouraged by watching her great grandmother as she painted. She studied fine arts at Arapahoe College, Metro State College, and the Art Institute of Denver. Her works are displayed in private homes in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Maryland. She is knowledgeable in several mediums. Her creative interests have ranged from oils, acrylics, watercolor, photography, painting on silk and presently includes digital art. Often, she combines several of these mediums in one piece. Susan says her goal is to create pleasure and joy for the viewer and also herself.
